§ 12.50.100. Private utilities; application for installation permit.

  • Before installing any utility facilities, a private utility shall be required to apply for and obtain written permission from the board of commissioners of the county. The application shall be sent to the county in writing addressed to the county engineer, who shall review the application and present it to the board of commissioners. The application must include the following:

    A.

    Name and address of the applicant;

    B.

    Name and address of the contractor, if any;

    C.

    Name of the road and general location of the same;

    D.

    A schematic drawing of the construction plans of the utility facility must be attached;

    E.

    A plat or map showing the location of the utility facility in relation to the existing roadway, pavement, or curb must be attached; and

    F.

    Date construction or installation is scheduled to begin.
