§ 8.70.040. Permits required.

A.

Owners and operators of incinerators shall be permitted as required by the rules and regulations of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. Any violation of the conditions of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources permit shall also be a violation of the conditions of any Hall County permit.

B.

No person [shall] engage in the operation of a principal use incinerator and no person shall construct or operate a principal use incineration facility without having a permit issued by the Hall County Board of Commissioners pursuant to these regulations.

C.

No person shall operate a biomedical waste incinerator or shall construct or operate a principal use medical waste incineration facility without having a valid principal use biomedical incinerator permit issued by the Hall County Board of Commissioners pursuant to these regulations.
